Our CNS Team

Since late 2024, I began recruiting young talents from across China and around the world to form the Chimeric Nano Sensor (CNS) research team, dedicated to advancing sensor development and in vivo imaging applications in animal models.

Today, we’ve built a dynamic and collaborative team—highly capable, full of energy, and united by a shared passion for scientific discovery.

🌞 Students

👩‍🔬 Jie Li (Aug 2024 -)

M.Sc. candidate from Shanghai Ocean University, currently completing her thesis within our team. Her research focuses on the development of genetically encoded thermometers for in vivo applications in zebrafish, combining molecular imaging with temperature-sensitive biosensors.

🌿 Jia Qian (June 2025 -)

B.Sc. candidate from Shanghai Normal University, currently completing her undergraduate thesis within our team. Her research focuses on the development of genetically encoded auxin biosensors for plant growth studies, integrating plant physiology with molecular probe design.

🐟 Yuanhua Wang (July 2025 -)

Undergraduate student from Southwest University, currently working on in vivo imaging in zebrafish and functional validation of genetically encoded probes, contributing to the development of real-time biological sensing tools.

🌞 Summer Interns

🧪 Yihan Zhou (July 2025 -)

Undergraduate student from Shanghai University, joining our team as a summer intern to explore molecular probe technologies and assist in biosensor experiments.

🧬 Yongkang Che (July 2025 -)

Undergraduate student from University of Glasgow, focusing on in vitro detection and validation of biosensors, while developing core molecular biology techniques through hands-on experimentation.

🧫 Lexin Chang (Aug 2025 - Aug 2025)

Undergraduate student from Jiangxi Normal University, currently learning molecular biology experiments and building essential lab skills for future research in biosensing and synthetic biology.

🎨 Yun Wang (June 2025 - Aug 2025)

Undergraduate student from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, currently working on bacterial art using color-engineered E. coli. Her project blends synthetic biology with creative expression, visualizing science through living pigments.

🔬 Ziyu Lin (July 2025 - Aug 2025)

High-school student from Guangdong, joining the team to learn and practice molecular biology experiments. Ziyu is thoroughly enjoying her time with the team—embracing both the scientific challenges and the joyful, collaborative atmosphere that defines our lab culture.
